PrimalVR Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PrimalVR collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the game on Meta Quest.
Information We Collect
PrimalVR may collect or process the following information:
- Meta Horizon User ID or Oculus ID.
- Meta Horizon display name.
- PlayFab player ID and account information.
- Gem balances, purchases, inventory, cosmetics, and game progression.
- Match results, wins, qualification results, and gameplay statistics.
- Multiplayer data results, and gameplay statistics.
- Multiplayer data, including player position, movement, headset position, controller or hand movement, room information, and connection data.
- Voice communications and related technical data needed to provide real-time multiplayer voice chat.
- Technical information such as device type, application version, errors, and diagnostic information.
- Meta add-on purchase status, product identifier, and fulfillment information.
PrimalVR does not receive or store your complete credit-card number. Payment processing is handled by Meta.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and identify your game account.
- Keep gems, cosmetics, statistics, and progression connected to you.
- Process and fulfill in-app purchases.
- Provide multiplayer rooms and real-time voice chat.
- Operate leaderboards and match systems.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, cheating, and unauthorized purchases.
- Find errors, improve performance, and maintain the game.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Service Providers
We use third-party service providers that may process information on our behalf:
- Meta Platforms — Meta Horizon account services, application entitlement, and in-app purchase processing.
- Microsoft PlayFab — player accounts, virtual currency, inventory, cosmetics, statistics, and other game-backend services.
- Normal VR, LLC (Normcore) — multiplayer networking, player synchronization, rooms, and real-time voice communication.
These providers process information according to their own terms, privacy policies, and applicable data-protection obligations.
In-App Purchases
PrimalVR offers optional consumable gem packages through the Meta Horizon Store. When a purchase succeeds, Meta provides purchase confirmation so that the correct amount of gems can be added to the player's account.
Gems may be used for optional in-game items such as cosmetics. Consumable gem packages may be purchased more than once.
Voice Chat and Multiplayer
Multiplayer functionality requires transmitting movement, position, room, and connection information between players. Voice data may be processed through Normcore to provide real-time voice chat.
Data Retention
We retain account, purchase, inventory, progression, and gameplay information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate PrimalVR, maintain player accounts, prevent fraud, fulfill purchases, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Information may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably necessary, subject to technical, legal, fraud-prevention, and financial recordkeeping requirements.
Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. However, no online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
PrimalVR is intended for users age 13 or older, or the applicable minimum age required in the user's region. The game is not intentionally directed to children under that age.
Your Choices and Data Requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your PrimalVR account. We may need information such as your Meta username, Meta User ID, or PlayFab ID to locate the correct account.
Some records may need to be retained where required for purchase records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Data Sales and Advertising
PrimalVR does not sell personal information and does not use player information for targeted advertising.
International Processing
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when PrimalVR, its services, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top will show when the policy was last revised.
